What frightens me most is that the mentality of some doesn't seem to have changed at all. The answer to everything being "More troops, more troops."

:-(I also remember watching a program about Vietnam that was trying to determine the exact moment the US lost the war. They determined it was the night of the airing of the Walter Cronkite documentary "Report from Vietnam" from the city of Hue during the Tet offensive in '68 and his editorial comment afterward.
