He's a polite, well mannered young fella. I spent the day with him keeping him out of his parents hair. He tagged along with me while running errands and then we took my dog down to the beach. He lives slightly inland so he doesn't get to the beach much. He was hysterical to watch playing in the water! I just stayed in the moment with a nine year old boy who hardly gets to see the ocean much less be in it; my dog swimming in the ocean with her tennis ball in her mouth; lots of people just walking back and forth and no one having 'dog off leash hissy fits'.

What a wonderful time! I hate the beach in-season (too many people, too much sun). I really should go in the fall, though. I live close to the beach. Watching kids is freeing - they remind me of what is possible.

If my daughter finds hers, I'll send them to you.

Ugh! Chemistry was my downfall - 8AM class. I was staying up until 2 or 3 studying, and then literally fell asleep in class. I did pass (barely), and I learned that if you study so much that you can't function during class that you are losing ground.
Hope therapist isn't on vacation much longer. I'm in a situation of not wanting to deal with anything in therapy, individual or group, and resenting having to go. A sure sign there is something I need to work on.

I see my therapist next Tuesday. Trying to stay on an even keel.

You are very wise. Many people would say that if they don't want to do anything in therapy that they must be done.
