War is awful and lots of people die. In Iraq anything from 25,000 to 100,000 civilians, according to two estimates I've seen. I dunno where you live and I don't want to upset anyone, but US foreign policy looks different the further away from the centre (wherever that is in the US...Fox News, the Pentagon?) you are (Is that right?).
That's the viewpoint from here in the not quite outpost of the whatdoyoucallit? Imperium...nah, empire...not that either, sphere of influence, ally?? (Australia)
Politics has been distressing for a while now. I fear we're moving toward interesting times.
