Hi, elanor roosevelt.

I was rereading some of your posts from the last five months or so. Just a few, so I probably missed a lot of what' been happening.

I experienced several of the problems you had with parnate.

There are a lot of changes in neurotransmitters after you go off parnate, and because different neurotransmitters shift at different rates, it can really throw off the usual way they interact. Reestablishing homeostasis can take a while, and be disruptive.

I don't think it will get worse-- but if it does, including the chills and intense sadness- it really makes sense to get something to make your moods more stable. I'm glad you're going slowly-- but it still can be rough.

My pdoc gave me a little seroquel (or maybe zyprexa) for a brief time--and after that, I mostly used xanax.

Have you made any plans for the future? How about Emsam? If you haven't, considered it, maybe you could? It's more energizing the parnate and while it disrupts sleep, and I did briefly have some more intense dreams-- they were nothing at all like parnate.

I'm sorry this is very hard.
