My thought was diabetes too. My endocrinologist says I've got no peripheral neuropathy yet. Yet it's a problem now like it never was before. I always had slightly cold feet and remember wearing a couple of pairs of socks with warm slippers in the winter. But now that just doesn't work. Diabetes must be involved somehow.
It's the flooring, I think. I have no real problem if my feet are off the floor. Unfortunately my desk is situated so that that isn't feasible.
The climate at my desk is much worse than the rest of the house. In the summer I joke that I've got a direct line to the bowels of hell there. In the winter, it's frozen. It's near the end of the a/c heating ductwork system. :(
