Thanks Dinah. I know it's a small thing, but I had never seen that written by a gp. Plus the cover FAX sheet originating from her office to the endo had MANY PSYCH ISSUES written in caps.
And just last week my pdoc and I spoke of social phobia :( Very bad timing, I suppose.
I love eccentrics. Many do, I imagine, because film and literature are peopled with odd folks.
I've never made my depression dx a secret from providers. They see the meds I might be on. I say early onset depression. I don't detail it for them like here. I am usually a smidge subdued with doctors.
But I keep thinking, "I thought she liked
me." Being liked is big. So is not being an outcast because my family of origin truly was odd/negative. Like, "hey freak!"I feel, now, a bit insulted. I do need to talk to her about this.
Any suggestions? Usually the simpler and clearer the better.
