I'm sorry you can't.
I know what it is to not be able to feel music, and not be able to have my emotions touched by movies or TV or even real life. It s*cks.
But now you're thinking of getting a new dog? A lab? Such happy dogs. A puppy or an adult? There are advantages each way.
