Hi Bulldog,
No criticism taken. My point to maniac and anyone else is that if one poster is tired of another poster, just leave it alone.
I know all three of you have known each other for years. If you care about Phillipa or any other poster, there might be better ways to communicate concern. Teasing and sarcasm, say, for example about cosmetic surgery can really hurt more than help. As a woman, I can be sensitive about my appearance. Because of my personal history, teasing and rough play can trigger shame. Everyone is different. But I can't assume my sarcasm or black humor (which I'm very fond of) is always appreciated.
And tolerance. Seems you and maniac are really pretty confident in taking care of your med needs. Maybe that confidence has been hard won for you. Maybe for maniac, too. I think it' wonderful and inspirational--really. Why let other people's med anxieties get in your way? Seems folks here run the gamut from med-phobic to Gonzo psychedelic.
I anticipate reactions since I've been here over a year. Somebody almost always tells me I'm bipolar. Or I need a special bloodtest. Jeez, my own brother wants me to replace my teeth, drink reverse osmosis water (and shower in it) and that I'm emasculating my son because there is floride in his water. I wanted to post about some probably dumb neurotransmitter test my physiatrist ordered, but thought better of it.
Oh well, I'm rambling here. Bottom line: I've been enjoyong philipa's tjread, and I felt the posts were getting a little rough.
MDD currently controlled. C-ptsd and comorbid health concerns. Chronic fatigue.
