>I have been reading some of your post on and off. Have you considered giving Lithium a try? As I recall, don't you have a diagnosis of Bipolar? From what I have read, you have all the indicators. Lithium should help with the concentration problems you have and ease your depression and even you out. What is paramount is getting the mood cycling under control FIRST and IF you have a comorbid ADHD this should be addressed last. You are young, and a diagnosis of ADHD verses bipolar can present with very simular symptoms and is tricky to diagnose. You will not get any relief unless you deal with one at a time. It may very well be that you have bipolar and not ADHD. You have been given some good advice from some others and I hope you are taking it seriously. You remind me of someone else that I gave plenty of advice to and I was very frustrated with. Please don't take this as an insult, I know that you are frustrated as well with your situation. I stronly suggest that you keep a daily log of your moods. If you are taking a stimulant now, be aware that it can exacerbate your moods if your bipolar is not under control. With the approach of antidepressant use with bipolar, it can be very tricky depending on how far you swing to the right side of the spectum. They can also exacerbate you mood cycle in higher doses. Remember, Less is best to start with and go frome there. My hope for you is to get back to a normal life and enjoy your youth in college. Talk with you doctor and make sure you are seeing a p-doc who specializes in mood disorders.
