I think it's really hard to look at oneself and realize the problems that we have. It's SO hard to get to the point where I can say, "Yes, I need help." I do understand how hard that is, and why it's hard.But the part that comes AFTER is so much better! :) After you get help (good help), life is just so much more enjoyable. Not just bearable, but enjoyable.
It's OK to have problems. I think most people do; they're all just different from each other. It's OK to ask for, get and take help. Someday you'll be in a position to help others. So don't feel bad about accepting help now.
