Oops, drat, see I forgot to add partlycloudy's name to my other post above.
Anyway, wow, I didn't expect such rapid replies. Thank you for your kindness. I'm really not a bad person at all!
This was my first post to "Social."
I hesitate to even bring up the other post because if people remember it... ouch... would that hurt my rep around here again? It wasn't in "Social," I think it was in "Babble," and I made a post in "Newbies" too of course. I was given a diagnosis of bipolar VI (yes, 6), and was looking for others like me. I guess it's part of BP "spectrum theory," and I was just looking for comraderie but it seemed every time I said something people misunderstood me and got pissed off and in general the whole thread got people's feathers ruffled. :( :( :( I apologized and everything, saying look I'm new I don't know how you guys do things around here! But by then I had already alienated myself.
I suspect some of the people here will remember it. I recognize some of the names from there over here....
I summoned up the courage to give it one more try here -- partly because I am a moderator on another board and so I don't always like to show when I'm feeling vulnerable; I feel like I need a place of my own if that makes any sense. If it's here, great; if not... I'll say my good-byes, wish you all well, and go looking for some other place.
I found Dr.Bob through a link on the Q&A advice page on my alma mater's website... "Dear Uncle Ezra." I've been a loyal reader for years LOL. Anyway, "Ezra" has a link to Dr. Bob and viola! here I am. You all seem so close and caring, it just feels like if I could break into that, it would be so nice!
Wow - that was long. Sorry to spill it all out like that.
