Welcome,
I think sometimes it's just natural to post to people you already know without even really thinking about it. I've caught myself doing that on occasion - not out of any desire to exclude anyone - but just because of my own comfort level. When I'm in a better mood and more aware of others' needs, I try to include everyone.
I usually hang out at the main board and the alternative board so I sometimes feel like I'm intruding here as well but I know that the more I post, the more I'll be included. I've seen it work that way for many others.
