OK, I'm alive. I have an 11-yr old daughter who has fractured her foot (she has an extra bone in her foot) and lives for basketball. She won't be able to play this summer (I'm afraid, because she might need surgery).

So what should I do w/her? What can I do w/her to keep her going, to keep her feeling good about herself? Also keep in mind for those who aren't in this, she is afraid she will get fat w/o th exercise.
antgua, who, yes, puts her daughter first
