You deserve an easier move than this!!!!!!!
I vote with Tabitha on getting the cable extended if you can. Is it in her name? Is that why she is the one who is calling the company? Can you ask her (nicely) to leave the utilities on until Nov 1? (On the off chance that she is just oblivious to the fact that you will still be there)
Can you arrange to move on the same day she is moving? I don't know if you would just be bumping into each other.
