A lovely poem, indeed. I am hoping that the persona is a little different from you, in that he or she is the one planning to stay asleep, and that you plan to wake.
The first thing I ever stole was a pair of earrings from Spencer Gifts when I was 11. My friends and I shoplifted all the time from that store. When I was sixteen, I got a job there and watched all the shoplifters get caught.
My best friend is in China right now. She is going to bring me back a birthday present.
You have a great deal to contribute to this world--from poetry to design to sweetness to civil kitties. I would miss you terribly.
