I got my first tattoo on my 30th..(a siamese kitty the upper left of my back).....the second soon after...(siamese kitty on my ankle)...they both look like new...but hurt LIKE HELL when they were being done. Tattoo places are so clean now...the artists are just as afraid of disease!
I have my navel pierced too (inspires me to do my ab-work everyday!!!!!) The navel didn't hurt..but now I have to wear low-rise pants..which being a child of the 80s is kinda hard..heehee
