KB,
I've had a good ammount of experience with cocaine as a user and as someone who has been in a relationship that was dominated by and destroyed by it, let alone watched a family member become consumed by it, even worse than I was.

The most important thing to realise is that as a drug coke is very easy to get addicted to, yet at the same time we have to look at our own desires, what constitutes our own jouissance or enjoyment and sometimes drugs are a part of this.

What I'm saying is that the act doesn't necisarily translate into the person, that beyond the habit there is a person who's acting to fullfill their own form of desire, no matter how detrimental.

The best thing you can do is be supportive no matter what the outcome. This doesn't mean turning a blind eye to the problem when it surfaces, but nothing hurts more than being abandoned for your own weaknesses...
