The funny thing is if you have mono people will totally sympathize with you and tell you to rest... heck, my Mom even came over and did my dishes and some laundry for me. BUT - go through a bout with depression and people just get pi**ed off at you and think you should "Take a shower and/or take some vitamins" Like was previously said here. They don't understand and think you should just "snap out of it". (WHICH, to be honest, sometimes does happen to me.)
Guess the reason for this is that depression doesn't show up as a positive in a blood test huh?
So nobody thinks you're sick!Another draw back with the mono is the fact that you've just pretty much spent a couple months in bed and then the body is worn down, so when you're getting better you STILL get worn down because of the month's lack of exercise and muscle use. So it's like a double whammie.
Ya'll may be sorry I joined this list because I do so have a tendency to ramble on and on and on and... well, you get the idea.
Later and - GET SLEEP! :)
