I dont think so

not at all

I never thought that either, I imagine they came from big events that required intervention. I guess what Im trying to say, is that, rules etc should continually change and be altered as they appear to have always been on babble... it looks like its time. The jury idea was just a lame suggestion.
But I disagree that it would come down to populatiry. If the deputies were involved in the decision and then had to run it by Bob, seems fair to me. popularity contest never even crossed my mind. I guess because I think of making jury decision based not on the person but on the offence.

I would fight for someone I hated if I thought they were being treated unfairly. i would also say that I think somoen who I like should have a stonger punishement. This was thought out very differently in my mind. Not popularity and I do think that it could be done without that issue coming into play as long as people remember it is the offence, not the person. And when it becomes the person, in a case of a disruptive poster, then how would a unanamous vote be influenced by popularity? Everyone would have to feel the same... And it is clear from the involvement on admin that EVERYONEs opinion about things are so very differnet... and people do not appear to be influenced by popularity much when it comes to debating blocks and such.
whatever... I keep saying I need a break, and I really do.
