AD's seem to have an effect on metabolism too. YOu need to rev it up now that you are off the effexor. The walking is great but you need to do some strength training to get your metabolism back up and running. Lift weights, do lunges, push ups, squats, crunches, anything that builds lean muscle mass. A low carb diet can help in the short term but it's not good to limit carbs for a long period of time.
