As one who tapered from 4 meds down to 1, I wouldn't put a time frame on your taper. Your quality of life and getting off these drugs permanently is what you need to focus on.
I haven't used a benzo but I do belong to the Benzo yahoo list that uses the Ashton Method. The only thing I question is why they push for a 10% reduction every 2 weeks. It seems you should wait until you just as good or better before you make the next cut but I could be missing something.

The only thing I caution you on is they are very anti supplements and also against adding any drug to the mix
You hit the nail about adding another drug. Of course, sometimes there is no choice and if my severe insomnia doesn't go away, I may be in that position. But I will made darn sure it is an appropriate choice and not just a situation of throwing darts at the problem.
