That makes me so angry when I read advice like that. That is worse than making a big cut because you are putting your body into a roller coaster ride of cold turkey withdrawal every 2 days.Your body needs a steady amount of the drug every day even during withdrawal.
The advice on the Paxil Progress Boards which is 10% of the current dose every 3 to 6 weeks is the best advice out there. A registered nurse, Laurie Yorke, runs the boards. She almost lost her son to a Paxil Induced suicide as he suffered adverse reactions due to a tapering schedule that was way too fast.
You might want to visit those boards and register. People are very helpful and Laurie is always responding.
I would go back to the dose that you last felt stable at and taper slowly from there.
By the way, my digital jewelry scale is working great for measuring my Remeron Dose I am not going to lie and say it is easy but my withdrawal symptoms had been minimal until insomnia yesterday. But that might be due to too much caffeine.
