I've been on a pretty high dose of xanax for over two years now. I once stayed at a friend's house for a few days and ran out of my pills. She gave me hydrocodone to see if it calmed my withdrawals down, and it worked to my surprise.she didn't have many, so i had to ration them out pretty well. But i didn't think i could substitute hydrocodone for xanax when i went into withdrawal, but it did work. personally i think you should get off of the klonopin and xanax first. Do it real slow though, you don't want to have a seizure. If you can, try to totally switch over to just the klonopin, kinda slow, then slowly get off that.it's supossed to be easier to get off of cause it stays in your system longer. when you're off of the benzos, it shouldn't be too hard to get off of the opiates, but only if you do that very slowly too. none of this is easy and it will take quite a while if you're addicted enough. you don't have to take my advice, it just seems to me that how i said it would make the most sense, maybe not. i've never been addicted to opiates, but i know you won't die from getting off of those. later
