Hmm.. already had alot of vivid/lucid dreaming while on Effexor XR. Except for the nightmare, which was scary as hell, I found it very interesting and fun. But I'm sure what you are talking about isn't as fun as those; dreaming while being awake is more like halucination.

Brain zaps is a very bad news. Hope I will not get them. I had alot the last time I stopped Paxil; 4 months.

Thanks for the infos Scott. Always pertinent and acurate as always.

> If you reduce the dosage too rapidly, you might experience something known as "REM rebound". You may have noticed a cessation of dreaming while on Nardil. Nardil tends to suppress the REM stage of sleep, the stage in which most dreams occur. If this has been your experience, then you might find yourself having extremely vivid and long-lasting dreams. You might even experience hypnogogia (dreaming before falling asleep) or hypnopompia (a persistent dreaming while beginning to awake). I also experienced some brain zaps, similar to that which occurs with SRI withdrawal. Perhaps some anxiety and tremulousness, I can't remember.
