Get the liquid zoloft, a 1 ml. syringe, and titrate down very slowly. 1ml = 20 mg. The 1 ml. syringe is marked off in tenths (.1), so you can really manage the dosage quite well. For some reason, I was able to titrate down more quickly with no side effects using this method. Had major problems trying to break pills. Lots of side effects. Warning: at higher doses, the liquid mixed in orange juice is a little like a screw-driver for breakfast - I don't drink, so I just had to hold my nose and swallow fast ;-) Good luck!!!! I've been off for 7 months and it's great.
