Risperdal withdrawal

Briefly took risperdal in the course of 10 days, gradually going up to 4.5 mg. Had infrequent but real finger, neck and facial spasms. Then cut off cold turkey, apparently doc did not seem to think tapering off is any use. 3 or 4 days after stopping it still have some spasms. Is that normal? I am very scared over tardive akinesia.
Also taking 15mg Zyprexa per day.
