You can do it!
Not everybody has the same terrible symptoms. I had none (down from 225mg gradually) until the last 37.5mg to 0 mg drop, and switched to tapering. It was 10.5 weeks from 225mg to the last ~5mg (I was sure I was done a week after that) but it was totally worth it for me (8 weeks would be from when I was on 150mg). rabble_rouser had Zero withdrawal symptoms with multivitamins.

Maybe you can start with finding a new doctor to support your withdrawal, although most pyschiatrists would require at least two visits before working with you on that. I had vowed a good friend I wouldn't do it without being under doctor's care, and had to find a psych. for that.
