I hear you loud and clear. I went off Effexor in March/April by introducing a low dose of Prozac. I've tapered off the Prozac now and have not ingested any Prozac since beginning May. It's almost mid-June and I am starting to get really worried. The zaps are back really bad this week. I also have ear problems-not ringing- so much as almost total loss of hearing for seconds at a time. What is up with this? I don't feel I am myself at all. Am completely edgy, zappy and don't know what to do to make myself feel better. It seems to ease up when I drink water and do cardiovascular exercise. According to the textbooks, it should have been out of our systems by now (please don't anybody pipe in with another lecture on half-life of Prozac, I can't take it) So how is this still considered to be discontinuation or withdrawal symptoms? This has now turned into something beyond that.
