Effexor is HORRIBLE

Posted by BrianS on June 10, 2005, at 11:41:20

I'm still suffering from the horrible withdrawal symptoms of effexor. It's June now, and I had stopped taking it on January. I'm going to see a neurologist soon because of my tinnitus (ringing in ears) and brain shocks when ever I sleep, my eye pain, and trouble focusing my eyes.
Anyway, I suffer from social anxiety and selective mutism. Right now, it seems that I'm going to need more than positive thinking and behavioral therapy to get me through my problems. I'm thinking I might need some kind of medication. Would any of you recommend Paxil, or is it just as bad as Effexor?
