Hi, one of the best ways to come off is to switch to Prozac. Prozac has a half life of 5 weeks so it's then easier to come off the Prozac.
I am sure we could find some literature to shove in your doctors face! How can he be so ignorant!
Anyhow, that is just one suggestion.
