i watched this video of the leader of the opposition having a meeting with executive people representing midwives and home care workers and gp's and hospital doctors etc etc...
and i just think about how much money they earn. how they all were working from home over that period (except possibly potentially for home care workers person who likely visited sites they got the contract for to help with airport screenings and community screenings and possibly potentially midwife peron).
how much money they earn.
how much money they earn.
how their job is to represent the interests of their workers.
how much money they earn.
how they sit there with their fancy suits and how much money they earn.
and how much they lie.
people stopped going to gp's. they stopped going.
there wasn't a mad rush. gp's were not front line workers.
people stopped going to gp's.
gp's did this massive panic that they didn't have enough ppe (who is in charge of ordering that from the DHBs) and then the gp's did mainly online consultations. they threw their receptionist and nursing staff out in front of them to do the patient contact and they largely weren't needed.
some of them hoarded vaccines. some others say they didn't have enough. does the phone not work for them? was there really no way that they could have driven their car to where the vaccines were and picked them up as part of essential business?
interestingly... people stopped having accidents.
people in hospital was down, like 40 or 50 per cent.
apparently a lot of elective surgeries were cancelled. the keyhole orthopedic ones, particularly, that don't have outcomes much better than placebo. operating theatre space opened up.
the government seems to want us to believe that we were able to get through a number of the backlog of cancer surgeries. but i'm not seeing stats or anything on that. so i don't know if it's true or not.
but the representative wasn't like 'yeah, we really did not have very many patients'. and tell us what they did, instead.
instead they just cry about how busy they were. how overworked. underpaid. undervalued.
neither of them were willing to say: we were about as useful as t*ts on a bull in that situation. we got a much needed breather from our business as usual.
they just keep crying 'poor us poor us poor us there isn't enough money'.
which makes it really hard to trust them / take them seriously.
i felt bad for the gp guy. nz... at it again. could they have found a person less capable to do that job? i find that hard to imagine...
i am sick of watching the news.
watching what everyone else says... what everyone else says... what everyone else says...
while bits of my thesis pop up everywhere...
by copying or by independent discovery.
it doesn't f*ck*ng matter.
where's my degree? for the thesis i write back in teh end of f*ck*ng 2018?
where's my degree?
where's my place in medical school?
what's the f*ck*ng problem?
it's really not supposed to be that hard.
all you people... all the money. have some more money. what? you need more money. more money for you more money for you more money for you. awwwwwwwwwwww you feel undervalued and underappreciated. awwwwwwwwwww more money for you.
where's my degree?
oh please, have some more money. have more money. all the money for you.
all the money for you. all the degrees and jobs and all the money for you.f*ck*ng stupid idiots.
morally blind.
f*ck*ng idiots.
