glad to hear you are sticking with it. i bet it is nicer to run closer to dawn or dusk in the summertime.
i've been sticking with the swimming.
i really like the atmosphere around the pool. all kinds of people from kids to the elderly. all kinds of water sports from diving to swimming to triathalon to water polo to aqua jogging. all kinds of level of abilities.
i like lifing weights around the swimmers because they mostly don't really go in for lifting weights. they'are not really built for it with their lanky limbs. i'm more built like them. it's nicer for me to train with them because they can see the hard work that i've put in to have any kind of control of my femur (for example) to even lift the bar. lifing with weightlifters... the dwarven folk... is more likely to get me injured if i listen to their advice, really. i just can't do what it is that they do with their bodies.
anyway...
i guess people in the community, here, are getting to see me in the gym. seeing what it is in weightfliting that i like. how it is technical... kinda like diving.
how it can be useful for building a powerful kick. and for building some strength in the upper body to power the lanky limbs.
and all those hip replacement people with their aquajogging.
