Me! Me!! ME!!! ... and probably many of the rest of us, too.
I think that this past year has been at least slightly better for me than the year before was, so I'm hoping that the coming year will at the very least be a year of improved mental health, for me and for all of us here on Psycho-Babble. Like you, I've been on these forums for several years (for me, it's been since 2005), and unfortunately, I can't say that the treatments I've utilized over the years have been very effective in minimizing the symptoms of my affective psychosis. I think that some of the rest of us who post at least somewhat regularly to this site have, for various reasons, also gone from treatment to treatment without the best of results. Will the coming year bring us what we need to help us feel mentally balanced enough to not only survive the years ahead, but to also thrive as we go through them? The heck if I know. Of course, I don't expect 2015 (or 2016 or 2017, for that matter) to be without its difficulties or ups and downs. But I can at least hope that better days will be ahead for many of us as we continue to endure our difficult moments and look for solutions to bring us the peace of mind that we seek.
Take care, RJ, and may 2015 be a good year for you. And maybe with some luck, the rest of 2014 won't be too shabby for you, either.
