I think it's too late for what I really wanted. Prices skyrocketed in December. I love the lambie blanket from Bath & Body Works. I bought one for me, and two of the non-lambie ones for my husband and son, when they first came out. I also bought a couple more on eBay for backup. And one I'll be using to make a warm snuggly poncho.

Mmmm..... Lambie Blanket.
I love my lambie blanket. I break it out as soon as the weather has a chill, and I wear it all winter, even when it's too warm (like now). I wrap myself in it on cold mornings. I wish I could be esconced in lambie blanket. I told my husband to bury me with my lambie blanket.
But, since that's no longer an option.
A few cookbooks, some Prairie Home Companion CD's, a book about Exterminator (my favorite racehorse), some regional books about New Orleans and New Orleans geneology, a video about Wales, and what I probably won't get - an enameled cast iron roasting pan.
Not that I'll get all of those, or even any of them. But my husband asks for a list and I'd rather it not be a shopping list, so I give him ideas and choices.
I'd really love some of my son's artwork. He's really very good. But he doesn't like us to see his artwork, so I doubt I'll get that.
My father used to get me a cottage every year from Lilliput Lane. He'd even go choose it himself, which was extraordinary considering that my father did *not* shop. He refused to step foot in anything but grocery stores in general. So it was extra special. I think I'd like another cottage, but... No. Maybe I wouldn't. It wouldn't be the same.
