My dogs hips

Posted by Maxime on January 7, 2011, at 23:37:03

Hi, I am sure I have posted about my beloved dog on here. If I haven't, I would be very surprised. She is a yellow lab. I love her SO MUCH. She is 9 years old now and she still likes to run which is good. But her hips hurt her. When she is the house, she always sleeps under a table with her hip against the radiator.

I am sitting here toasty warm in an electric throw blanket. I started to wonder if I should get one for her too. Do you think it would help, or would it dry out her skin? Or maybe a heating pad?

I hope I don't sound stupid, but I believe that as a dog ages you must provide for them in a different way. She deserves to be comfortable.
