Thought of something the other day and wondered if it was worth putting out there. One of my favorite bits in the movie "What the Bleep! do We Know?" is where the main character starts illustrating her own body with a biro (I think). Why not experiment with a henna tattoo or body paint with your scars and see what you can come up with? It would be temporary and you would get an idea of what it would feel like to illustrate yourself.
