So I started a couple of pumpkins and a radish and so far it is not looking good. LOL
I started the radish indoors on a wet paper towel because I didn't have soil yet and was too impatient to wait. I then got soil but was too lazy to put some in a pot and transfer my radish to the soil. So, my poor radish kept growing longer and longer indoors. A couple of leaves sprouted at the tip of this very long thin white stem. The stem got so long that it couldn't support itself and was laying on the soil horizontally.
Finally I transfered it to a small pot of soil and put it outside. It was too late.
My pumpkin plants looked much better. I started these indoors in some wet soil right away. They grew thick healthy looking green stems.
Unfortunately I left them outdoors last night and it rained pretty hard and was/is very windy. One of my pumpkin plants fell over. The stem is broken in a couple of places and now it too, like the radish is horizontal. ROFL

My poor plants!
I just put another radish and pumpkin seed into some soil. Hopefully these will turn out better. LOL
