Well I take Buspar, but if I had those symptoms--and worked with children--I would probably not!!
It seems it takes 2 months to work for the small percentage of people who respond to it. What is your dosage and how long have you been taking it? I agree you should move on to something else, but you might want to continue the Buspar while you're searching for and taking trials for an effetive remedy. I totally understand the cognitive issues, which is why I like Buspar..but it doesn't normally work for severe anxiety.
I've read a few of your posts, and honestly have no idea what to advise to help you out. I wish I could because it seems you are going through such a rough time. I think i asked you if you had prior drug/alchohol issues, but you said no? The reason I ask those things is because it seems like there is always something missing from people's stories, like the "missing clue" that would solve the problem!
Have you had anger issues for long? what's going on with that? Did your PDoc attribute that to Bipolar or anxiety? Does your anger only manifest at work, or do you feel like that outside of the job? Do you think you'd have any reason to have PTSD?
I remember you said you were a single Mom. That is rough, really stressful. Escpecially if you have a low socioeconomic status and/or no supportive father for the child, a child with a disability...or health issues. Do you think your anger/rage is a response to too much stress? Be careful with that...Do you want to talk about stress? I have lots of experience with that..lol.
Well hopefully someone will come around with med avice for you...until then, hang in there...stay strong for you and the little rugrats : )
