Sorry you got laid off work. :( I know the anxiety that can bring. But I can offer a few points that should help you. For your prescription drugs here in Ontario, go here:
http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/pub/drugs/trillium.htmlIt is the Ontario Drug Trillium Program. It'll cover most of your med cost. Read it over and when you get to the bottom it has an application you can download. Send it in asap, and it may take a bit of time, but I got lucky and went through fast. Read up all about it. You don't have to do anything except show your health card once at the pharmacy, pay a small deductible each year, and all your meds are covered by them.
