~ ~ - Hi Bobby - Thanks. Looking forward to the winter being over is an excellent idea. I'll try to just imagine the Spring shoots poking up through the earth. I think I'll let my 'inner child' make a drawing (with my non-dominant hand) & put it on the fridge!!
Other forms of looking forward can cause me trouble, as they trigger worrying. My T suggested that when I'm stressed - to think of & plan for my DH & my retirement in the country. That doesn't work for me, as a main part of my stress is whether our son will ever be successful in being on his own. There's a 'gremlin' inside me that keeps pushing forward the image of us always having him living in our rec room (or wherever).
I wish I could be positive & create the image of him living happily & successfully independent - not with us. I'm not sure how I can achieve this.
