Hi Jay,
I feel for you. I've been turned down for more jobs than I can count hence my self imposed nickname of Queen of the Employment Losers. I'm interviewing (again) and I dread the inane questions. I really hate "why do you want to work here?" Uh, because my unemployment check doesn't pay the bills, and unfortunately I haven't won the lottery yet. Inane questions deserve sarcastic answers, but of course I have to mumble what a great company they are. Argh.
I'm sorry they didn't recognize that you were right for the job. Cyber slaps to their heads.
