That sounds like a good idea. But what will you do then?
Thank you, everyone for your helpful and informative replies.I'd imagined it was down near Panama.
San Felipe del Moro runs nicely off the tongue, you think?
(Spanish has such an agreeable melancholy.)'a territory appurtenant and belonging to the United States, but not a part of the United States'.......well, that sorts that out.
We recently rewatched "The Exterminating Angel" but the Spanish in the film was harsh just like the people. But what I did not expect was it to be so funny. It's about (if you don't already know) these people who come back after the theatre to a (big) house (perhaps in Barcelona?) for a little bit more of a recital, drinks and coffee before going home, but they all end up trapped in the room unable to leave. Everyone speaks nonsense like 'The lower orders do not feel pain like we do' and 'Let me show you my incunabula' or 'where's the morphine?', but in particular (naturally) they spend a bit of time talking about how it can be that they cannot get out of this room when there is nothing to stop them, and which is worse (as they often remark) they are unable even to try to leave.
Then I realised that Todd Solondz must have got some of the ideas for his magnificent black farces from Bunuel.
