Do you remember that 70's song, Darling Be Home Soon, where he sings 'a quarter of my life is almost past', which doesn't seem like much now?
Time passes more quickly, so most of *our* life is gone
(I'm not suggesting this is a bad thing; I'm not even sure I believe in time; I certainly believe in the first drink of the day).
The contents of consciousness suck, at least the people often do. But the blue of the sky is a content of my consciousness.
Perhaps unlike the people, who randomly give me the jerks, the colour of the sky (for example) comes from my/our (shared) genetic inheritance, and coming from inside, is more soothing?
It seems like a wonderful thing for stardust to experience.
How very woodstock of me.
