Sorry #1F.
Sometimes I just don't have the mental capability to read through & actually follow a longish post. Sometimes I do.
Sometimes I have what might be useful thoughts/feelings about it. Sometimes I don't.
I do care about you.
The one part I can comment on is:
>You know, the saying that all "bad" stuff ends in high school, it does not. It will last you your whole life....really. I've seen people in there 80's still judge people, if there not in the social norm. What is a social norm? acting nice.... i dont consider myself a social norm, but i act like im normal 90% of the time.
*******I have never heard the saying that all bad stuff ends in high school. I agree with you. I think that's a pretty strange thing for anyone to actually believe! Jeeeeeeez - wouldn't THAT be nice eh??
Lots of people act nice. Lots of people don't act nice! I just had a friend (who is very supportive & who I've told lots of my 'baggage' from my past) tell me today that given the way I 'seem' & 'behave', nobody would know that I was carrying around about 50 pounds of hurt!!
I don't know what 'the norm' is. I'm beginning to know that for me, comparing myself with others is very damaging. I want to try to stop doing it. I suspect that for you, comparing yourself to your brother might be quite damaging. I question that there's anything at all useful or good-for-you to be gained from comparing your life with your brother's life. I'm sorry you have pain about all that.
Sorry, that's about all I can say at this point.
Please try to not take it personally if people don't reply to a post. Sometimes people are really going through a lot & just aren't able to even read posts. Others might read them & just not know what to say, even though they might care about you as a person.
I send hugs, Kath
