I got a coffeemaker w/ a stainless steel carafe, but it stays on for just 20min & then shuts off!!! o_o
It's a nice-looking Krups w/ a water level indicator, swing out pyramid shape filter holder, water filter feature which can but don't have to use, and black w/ just the carafe and a bit of stainless steel on the front.
I drink two to three cups of coffee over prob' a 2-3hr period in the morn'; spreading it out, like 1/2 cup increments over this period, sort of the way you are supposed to eat six small meals a day if you have digestive probs'.
The little bit of warmth that is left of the coffee in the carafe nearing 1-1/2 to 2hrs after making it is SO NOT sufficient.
Maybe some of the coffemakers have a feature pause the heating, then turn it back on for a little bit .. I dunno.
Just know taking my 2nd and 3rd cup from carafe to nuke every morning is getting tiring and probably burning the coffee!(?)
Hey tho! Coffee does seem to 'taste better' when made in these stainless steel carafes.
Nope. U can't set it 2 stay on longer than 20m.
Appears have another take-back on my hands! Have gotten out box, paperwork, and am readying to return and re-search.
