********I think he says them in a WAY that elicits my "OH DEARRRR" emotional response. In the past I've had it that he'll answer the phone in one voice & when he realizes it's me, the voice changes!!! I don't think he's intentionally manipulating me any more, although I'm sure he's quite capable of it if he wanted to.Yesterday, when he told me he'd 'messed up' with cocaine & owing money, I told him that I didn't want to know how much $ and in the future he is NOT to tell me anything about any of that stuff. He looked disappointed. I feel really glad I said that. So now, I just have to remember if he does say anything, to remind him, "Ooops - I don't want to hear about that. You know how I feel about that (told him I truly believe he should be in rehab). Can't handle knowing that stuff." or something of the sort.
Is your sister involved in using drugs?
Thx for supporting me. It means a LOT.
hugs, Kath
