That means something totally totally different across the pond in the UK!!!!!!!!!
Shag is slang for (ahem) sex basically.
So.
Anyway.
I'm glad the new haircut went well, I find these things very traumatic to be honest, and incidentally I got my haircut this morning as well. Its okay. I usually cut it myself!
