In reply to Wish me luck tomorrow, I'm having an MRI done., posted by TexasChic on April 30, 2007, at 20:44:23
> I went for my first ever mammogram a couple of weeks ago and they saw something that made them want to do an MRI. Actually, after the mammogram I had a sonogram, then they tried to do a ductogram - which involves injecting dye into a duct - but after trying for 4 hours they decided my ducts were too small (and yes it was as painful as it sounds) so now we're on to the MRI. The doc said things actually look okay, but some symptoms indicate something that could be pre-cancerous, so they're checking to be on the safe side. I actually forgot what the pre-cancerous condition was called, but hey, I remembered all of that other medical terminology I used above, so I'm not going to be too hard on myself.
