I feel the same way about my dog. If i'm have a particularly rough spell of depression, she'll curl up next to me and put her head on my chest.
Also, every morning, as soon as I say "good morning Katy." to her, she'll jump from the end of my bed to right on top of me and cover my face in kisses.
God, I love her. :)
