That is a very profound quote indeed. It really captures the essence of the relationships between victim/perpetrator/bystander. I just finished reading a great book that tackles this very subject. In fact I think they may have used the same quote too. The book is:
"Trauma and Recovery"
Very insightful. It helped me put alot of personal things in context.
